Hero Member Offline Activity: No don't trust that message it is far from legit sounds like he may give you a phishing link to a website which looks like blockchain. On a mission to make Bitcointalk. What we are implementing to to prevent this in future is a new customer verification systems that will verify in realtime, same as what bitstamp uses, we also have a wait period for bank account deposits prone to chargebacks.
Other exchanges use today. Link to thread- https: Its the same system banks use when you apply for a new account. Checks if the data you input is acurate. Litetree is a scam for sure. Withdrawals get delayed and declined. Support sent me this message: I'm dealing with a similar situation with them. Not to mention I went through their 'verification' and they still decline it saying I need to verify. I've opened up a support request so we'll see how it goes. So, if we can't trust Litetree, what other exchange works for people trying to buy Litecoins in the USA? The 31 days makes sense as the banks require that so users don't do charge backs. Dont get me wrong, the website is nice and I know you guys are the only ones in the USA that are doing this, but for first time users n00bs,ect it would be nice to make it more simpler to purchase LTC using USD.
What im still confused about is how to actually send money to them They are legit I use there service and yes it takes some time until you see the transfer, took me 24 hour until I could see the btc in my account but it happen. At first I was sure they aren't legit cause for some reason, it does take more time that you'll expect time until you see the money, and I agree it scary. They replied to my email quickly first time but second time took them more than 10 hours to reply.
They told me that they where victim of a DDoS attack witch is probably true because there site was slow the day before. So yes it takes more time than expected in my case to get the money but it happened. So I will say they are legit in my opinion, but they need to fix a few thing and be more transparent on there website about how they are running there businesses, who they are where are they located, what the max delay time for a transfer etc.
And they need to do that really quickly because LTC it gonna fly high and if they don't fix thinks quickly they gonna miss the plane. Just wanted to chime in on this company. I'm fairly new to litecoin, about 2 weeks in.
