That is speculation though. While it is actually possible for anyone to generate a mathematically "valid" signature for that address, the 0 exponent is not allowed, and that signature will be rejected by the network. I'm not certain but my system may have failed while the software was running. If your wallets are encrypted you will have encrypted backups of your private keys on your local drive. I have 3 wallet files, however I believe they are corrupt as they cannot be opened by Multibit anymore, log files indicating: Protocol Message Had Invalid Wire Type Please see log screenshots in original post The wallets were unencrypted, I do not have backups or private keys for any of the 3 in question.
When opened with a Hex Editor the data seems garbled and in a repeating fashion identical for all 3 wallets however in different lengths in repetition. However if that is not successful I will need help to determine if we're reading the wallet files correctly, if there is anything we can do to repair them, and extract my the private keys for the wallets in question.
