To the admins pump up the marketing campaign wtf these other coins have crap tech but better PR, people seem to think trust comes from PR lol. I have issue i had wallet synced everyday now my wallet not sync and on status bar Disconnected or 1 Peer please any idea how to make wallet to sync again. We are trying to solve this problem with the wallet. You'll help us a lot if you send your version of the OS and wallet to contat bytecoin.
Why is the Bytecoin GUI wallet closed source? This should be a major concern for anyone using the wallet. I made an earlier post on this sub two weeks ago and haven't heard any reply. It would surely be much easier to maintain if developers like myself were able to contribute instead of keeping it behind closed doors.
It doesn't reflect well on a project with such a troubled past to have the official GUI wallet closed source.. I already made one thread about this topic two weeks ago and it's received one of the highest upvotes on this sub. Whoever is downvoting must either be a noob or a sockpuppet. No crypto enthusiast would ever promote a close source wallet. The alarming thing about all this is that I'm the only one who has brought this up since this project launched the GUI wallet in I guess I'm the only one in 2 years who noticed there was no source available.
If you want I can create another thread but I shouldn't have to. I can't think of any other cryptocurrency that has their official wallet close sourced. If you want to be a market leader then operate at market leader standards. A semi-transparent cryptocurrency will go nowhere. Thanks for listening to the community.
