It's interesting how habits are change quickly. In any case, lately for me was very hard to follow the official ANN because of huge numbers of posts and a large number of them was without any value. Maybe now official ANN will have only quality info and this is much better than huge number of post from users who just wanted to fill the quota. The official ANN thread has already been successful to draw as much attention as it could. Five more pages per day is quite a lot comparing to other ann. It ranks top 5 or 6 at present and could be 4 or 3 next year.
Just let it grow naturally. For a to-be-successful coin, I'd like to have more informative posts in the thread rather than just lots of cheap words. Aug 18, Messages: Activity is down a bit, but more important the quality of the posting in the ANN thread has improved a lot!!

I know the first thing I do is check out the website, whitepaper and project forums. If there hasn't been any posts in the last few hours, or few days, etc I assume the project is pretty much dead. Sure, enough advertisement to get them to their website is required to make the project a success -- but community traffic and activity is exceedingly more important in the long run. Also, once we raise in the market cap rankings, the advertisement of the project will become less and less important.
I had seen a lot of crappy posts in BCT by DeepOnion members over the last several weeks -- I can almost guarantee you that the amount of that will drop significantly with the new rules. Again, this is not a problem or a bad thing at all. What people don't seem to realize, is a single "bad" post on BTC is potentially more harmful to the community than the benefit gained from 10 good posts.
And I am sure we have all seen a lot of bad posts on BTC. My actual password was rejected now this app maker has that info. It gets access to my SD card? When clicking forward one page in a thread, the first page of the thread appears. The search option is greyed out and apparently disabled for a "Full Member".
