Every solution is different and equally not helpful. In my case, I can install a perfectly working system onto a disk, and as soon as I install the AMD catalyst driver, the whole build is destroyed, disk is no longer recognized and has to be started over from scratch. I sure wish this issue could be sorted out once and for all. You also need to load up as a super user as I did. This would not work without being a super user.

Just putting this out there for those who had the same problem as me: I tried installing this 2 times in a row onto a flash drive as ext 4 journeying file system, did not work, it kept on saying something like verifying dmi data on boot which is normal but it did not go away, so instead of picking the ext4 file system for installation I picked ext2 and it worked.

For the first problem, are you using risers? Make sure the graphic cards are not close to each other, and make sure to use risers to separate them, if the cards are getting too hot, that may cause sickness. For second problem, try swapping out the risers. Do you suggest to try jumper wire the riser shourtcut. Make sure you run Step 14 after putting in all your cards then reboot, otherwise they cannot be detected.
