We ordered our drinks and after 20 minutes, the waitress came over to tell us that they had run out of the cocktail my wife ordered, so she ordered a different one and we then waited a further 15 minutes for that to be served.
We both went for the 'A-Y-C-E' option and ordered our food. Over half an hour later, the waitress came back to tell us one of the items had run out. Whilst I appreciate that the sushi was all made to order, we didn't have anything served for 45 minutes. When it was, only half of what we asked for was served. To compound this, only on asking was I told that they would stop taking orders at In addition, we were then told that a second item from our order had run out - both vegetarian options.
As a veggie, this meant I was down to either cucumber maki or tofu maki, as the miso soup was awful and bitter. Oh, and then they ran out of a third option from the menu. As they had run out of both Inari and Tamago nigiri, to compensate, we were given a crab uramaki and a salmon skin uramaki - neither of which were in any way veggie options.
The final straw was when the cucumber maki came out covered in fish roe from a dirty knife. To the manager's credit, he didnt charge us for the second meal and the sushi we did have was alright, not brilliant, but by no means the worst I've ever had. I would say to avoid this restaurant, but I can't imagine they will be around for too much longer.
