The thread still draws in those new to Darkcoin. I was thinking of using it more as a funnel to the forums. I agree about it bringing new people. I found Darkcoin because the thread was so big and always up on bitcointalk. It was late february or early march I don't post much there, but if we get a few of the superposters I'm thinking Coins, but there are many more it could be great. Also, another thing that would be nice is someone making a compilation of the unmissable posts there.
Right now I spend a lot time going through the thread everyday to avoid missing on something important. If we knew that the good things can also be found here we could dedicate more time to constructive things instead of just reading discussions about the price with trolls for pages and pages. I'm still not sure it shouldn't be locked down if bitcointalk mods would go for it to devs and a few key people for making announcements, as I really don't think exposure is an issue anymore and, if anything, the bitcointalk thread has gotten worse since the major run-up.
