Price, but it was worth it for me Brentwood Strongly recommend you use rechargeable batteries of course. High quality, great sound quality Cons: Pawn you're able to fork over the eleven-hundred clams, it's well worth it. Apparently over time the cash wear out. I have no problems utilizing this headset in my Schweitzer c helicopter.

Our Norwegian correspondent The Observer sends his translation of an article and interview with two respectable high-profile Muslim leaders in Oslo, who have strongly negative opinions about Jews and the worldwide Jewish conspiracy.

A new trend seems to have developed in the Islamic community in Norway: It should also be pointed out that this is the same mosque that the Norwegian police apologized so profusely to last year for the fact that we have freedom of speech in Norway. The translated article from Dagsavisen:.

Many Norwegians have a negative view on Islam due to Jewish domination of the media. We are visiting Central Jamaat-e Ahl-e Sunnat, the mosque with the largest member base in Norway, to talk to its spiritual leader. The mosque was founded in and currently has more than 5, members. Many people are unaware of this fact, says Sarwar. Both of them believe that the school visits confirms their views that Norwegians in general have an inaccurate impression of Islam and Muslims. Yesterday a group of Al Qaeda terrorists assaulted a natural gas plant in Algeria and killed two foreigners while taking 41 other hostage. Prior to that, we awoke this morning to heavy rains. It is our good fortune that there was never any period of transitional ice. Why am I talking about the weather, you ask? Because this heavy wet snow may well eventuate in a power outage. Should that happen we would have no way to tell you why when, once again, no one seems to be home. And thanks to the generosity of our donors several years ago, we installed a gas cook stove so we can cook and have — thank heavens, again — hot coffee during the outage.

Yesterday we reported on a group of young Muslim men who accost pedestrians in certain parts of east London. The original post included an embedded video taken by the group and posted on their YouTube account.

As you all know by now, our blog was suddenly removed last night between 8 and 9pm EST for no apparent reason. Blogger never provided any explanation before, during, or after the outage. I assume it was an internal technical problem at Google. Below is a portion of a mass email I sent out earlier today to dozens of people who had written to us to ask what happened:. One second it was there; the next it was gone.

If we had violated their terms of service, we should have received an email, according to their own established procedure. But we received no email.

And, as you can see, I still have the gmail account. Late last night I began the process that one always goes through with Blogger: We actually received a response, which is unusual with Google.

Based on the replies, there seems to have been a major problem with Blogger last night. Even without ANR this headset does a good job. Headset is light and comfortable. Yes it is pricey but well worth the extra money. Reliability, Comfort, Technology Cons: Not exactly priced for everyone. This is my second Bose headset. Not because the first broke or even wore out but, just to upgrade.

The Bose X I'd had for 11 years still worked flawlessly. As it turns out Bose managed to improve upon perfection. The A20 is just as comfortable and amazing but, with more features. Size of case Review: I'm on the and have to wear it many hours and find it very comfortable. Very excellent sound Was this Review Helpful to you? Monday, May 23, If you fly a lot Invest in the best Effective sound reduction, comfort, control box simplicity, and bluetooth clarity Cons: Price, but you knew that already Review: Really like the new headset.

I do occasionally get some blow by, as in air coming around the ear cups, but there is nothing better than hitting that control button and having the noise disappear. Bluetooth works well as I have had to make several calls sitting on the taxiway and having to pick up IFR clearances by phone..

My wife says that even with the engines running at idle, when I call her on the headsets it sounds better than when I am directly talking into the phone regularly Was surprised that they dont build in a light source, I fly a lot in evening and at night which I solved easily with a Streamlight Clipmate, attached above the left ear cup with a couple of zip ties Now I have two levels of white and two levels of red, and a goose neck to direct it USB rechargable, and Works spiffy!!!!

Look around for pricing, as it should be about 27 bucks which is what I paid for it from the Flashlight Outlet locally. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase. Quiet even after batteries are dead. Monday, May 16, Best headset ever! Very comfortable, very light, extremely quiet, very nice case.

I was very skeptical at first about purchasing this headset. After talking with a few co-workers and friends who have used this headset, I decided to pull the trigger and get one with the notion that I can always send it back.

I was sold after doing one flight with it. I am amazed at how quiet this headset makes the flight deck. I no longer have the ringing in my ears after a hour day at work. I wish I would have gotten one years ago! I love the Bose!

The controller-battery holder needs more options to place it Review: There is always room for improvement Was this Review Helpful to you? Quiet, comfortable, easy, multiple function Cons: Headsets don't get any better, I have 6 of these. Expensive, but worth every penny. Looks professional and comfortable Cons: Really expensive, not worth the price Review: It's a great product and works great. I tried other products as well and besides the noise cancelling there wasn't much different.

Something I learned was that it's good to be able to listen to your engine. Also, I don't think I will ever use the Bluetooth. I am having some trouble with utilizing the bluetooth capability of this headset while the helicopter is in operation.

There seens to be some noise problems while trying to communicate via cell phone in flight, but I am working on this. Still trying to understand the correct bluetooth button positions for proper use while in flight and yet still be able to communicate via intercom or flight radio. I have no problems utilizing this headset in my Schweitzer c helicopter. It works well, especially the noise attenuation components. The coiled cord is most useful in keeping the cordage out of the way of flight controls.

The Bose is lighter, less head squeeze, more comfortable and much better ANR noise cancelling I bought the version with the locking lemo connector and adapter, so I can use it in aircraft with old school and new school and newer headphone capabilities.. Love them, they are great! Quality, noise cancellation, everything advertised Cons: I saved for quite a while to buy this and I am glad I did.

It's almost scary how quiet it is in my I enjoy the blue tooth capability. Music is nice and hearing the com transmissions is even better! Service and warranty Cons: A little pricey BUT you get what you pay for I have used the Bose headsets for years and it's the only one for me. Beyond belief comfort for long flights. Quality far after the purchase. And service is indescribably great. Best noise reduction and comfort I've experienced, very nice additional features.

Turns out, I was wrong: The noise reduction is much better, the comfort is extraordinary, the Bluetooth connection to the phone flawless, the folding mechanism very convenient, the controller box well designed, and even the carrying bag is very nicely thought through.

I've had it for only two months, so I can't vouch for durability - I'm planning to post an update in another 15 years: Wednesday, February 17, Great choice. Noise cancelation works great. This was a gift for my son, who is starting commercial pilot training. He was thrilled to be able to start training with such a great quality headset.

Noticeably quieter than every other ANR headset I tried; very comfortable and comparatively lightweight Cons: Auto Off feature inop until Bose sent me a replacement "down cable" Review: I called Bose after noticing that the Auto Off feature was not working, even when the headset was unplugged and stowed in my flight bag.

Nonetheless, Bose expedited a new down cable to me, along with a free return authorization for the defective down cable. Friday, January 22, The best aviation headset yet!

Very comfortable and excellent noise canceled audio Cons: I've had a variety of headsets over many years. This one is absolutely the best.

I recently bought Lightspeed's new cordless headset which I sent back due to distracting noises and huge earcups that needed frequent repositioning for the noises and for slight discomfort. However, now I really don't notice that I'm wearing the new Bose since it is so comfortable and the audio is so good. I'm a flight instructor so I've flown with it quite a bit already. You can't go wrong with the A20!! Excellent Noise reduction Cons: I really like the improved Bluetooth for streaming music and also my video for studying.

This was a nice improvement. Thursday, January 21, I can't believe that I flew without these. Clear voices, great noise cancellation Cons: I can't believe that I flew without these. The noise cancellation is amazing.

A quite cockpit, clear audio both from the tower and my Iphone. This product deserves 5 stars but I would have liked a bit more cord between the plugs and the control unit so I gave it 4 stars Was this Review Helpful to you? Took a while to get from BOSE but well worth the wait.

The Active noise canceling works amazingly well. I was flying with the flight schools David Clarks and these blow those out of the water. I highly recommend this headset.

Headset is comfortable and quiet - too quiet. I like to be able to hear noises on start, taxi, takeoff and landing. I choose to turn the active noise off at this time but use it otherwise. This is personal preference. I have left it on during landing and didn't realize until after. The passive noise cancelling is good too. I have only worn them for a little over 3 hours with no issue. I really enjoy them Comfort, noise cancelling, music quality Cons: Switched from Telex Airman to the Bose A20 just a few months ago.

Great noise cancelling but can still hear the necessary aural alerts. Very comfortable on the head and great music quality too. The standard for the industry Friday, December 11, Look no further for a headset. Extremely quiet, wonderful clarity, light pressure and very well-made.

If you're looking for a noise canceling headset, and cost is not an object, then this is the headset for you. I found the noise canceling efficiency of this headset to be greater than any I have ever used. This includes a previous purchase of an older Bose headset, as well as both of my last 2 Zulu purchases. The headset is lightweight, extremely comfortable, and performs better than any set I've ever had. Tuesday, November 24, A20 review -outstanding! Sound, weight, design, flexibility Review: Lightweight, great sound, barely knew I was wearing it!

Tuesday, November 10, Great product. This is the first headset I have purchased, so I don't have a lot to compare to. But, the difference in noise level between the Bose and my instructor's traditional headset it really amazing. The noise cancellation is huge! This headset is everything you would expect from Bose. I own a which is pretty loud and I love going up during a sunset while listening to Kenny G, the noise canceling works great, plus I can talk on the phone Was this Review Helpful to you?

Better fit, ANR, style, cables. Blue tooth should play music. Come on guys, it's Hot spots if you wear a ball cap like i do. So, I swapped them out. Comfort, clarity, connectivity Cons: As expected, my new Bose A20 with Bluetooth is just fabulous.

Thursday, October 08, Great sound. Great sound quality Cons: Controls and headset could be a little less bulky Review: I first tried the Sennheiser s-1 Digital. I know this is highly subjective, but I didn't think the bluetooth music sound quality on the Sennheisers was very good Unlike at least one other review I read, these DO allow the user to listen to music via bluetooth from your mobile device mine is an iphone.

I use this feature a lot when commuting or deadheading and the fidelity is great. On the flightdeck, they're comfortable, quiet, and easy to manage. The noise cancelling abilities of the Bose is much improved from my fifteen year old Sennheiser headset. The only drawback is bulkiness of the headset. The clips can pop off and end up all over the flight deck. It would be nice to have a place for your name and phone number on the headset in case it gets left behind. Pricey, but worth it. So efficient as they are that sometimes I forget to turn the noise cancelling on!

Probably the best noise reduction headphones on market, They are light and comfortable, I have worn them for as long as 5 hours straight Was this Review Helpful to you? Wednesday, September 09, I love it!!!

Lite weight very comfortable fit Cons: Can't hear the engines start now I have to look at the engine display Review: Excellent headsets, I have been using the company telex for 13 years, finally decided to spring for my own and glad I did. Wish it could record the radio communications Review: Helicopter noise is so quiet but I can still hear blade flapping at perfect volume to know how my flying is.

Bose A20 is Perfection. Noise canceling, light weight, don't pinch your head Cons: I've been impressed since I opened the box. Very comfortable and worth every penny. I'll be getting a second pair soon Was this Review Helpful to you?

A little delicate but if taken of properly will last very long. Used this model headset for several years. This is my second pair. I fly a Rockewell Turbo Commander for a living.

It is so quiet you almost fall asleep. I just would like to thank Mike for his awesome customer service. Sunday, April 19, Worth the cost! Plastic cord clip broke before I even used it. BUT, Bose sent me 2 spares at no charge when I called them. I've always wanted to try the Bose noise cancelling headset but didn't like the price.

I figured I would try it out for 60 days and if it was not worth the cost I'd return it and go with a standard headset. Man, what a difference! The headset is comfortable on long flights up to 4 hours is how long I've used it so far.

The way it cuts out background noise is wonderful. I'm planning on buying a second one when my wife starts flying with me regularly meaning when I buy a plane. I'd highly recommend this headset. So, I needed to get a headset. I am a research freak when it comes to buying any kind of tech gear for flying.

As such, I asked every pilot I knew about headsets and tried many myself before buying the Bose A They are in a class by themselves. They really cut out the noise and are very comfortable. I intend to be using them often and for a long time. As such, I think the cost is reasonable. Sure I'd like them to cost less, but when it comes to flying, safety is a primary concern, and any discomfort or functional issues can be a distraction.

The A20s remove all such issues. Simply put, I think they are the best available product in this category. Several people have asked to try them on, and when they have, they all fall in love with them. Nice sound, bluetooth integration Cons: Cost, heavy stiff cord, cable clamps Review: Really changed my audio environment and the integration with my phone bluetooth has simplified all the FSS and other comm tasks.

The user controls are bit over-complicated, but learnable. Wish the thickness of headband was less - hinge bumps ceiling too often. Cable clamps can snap and spring apart. As a professional pilot with a head set on 3 to 4 days a week for up to 4 hours at a time, the A20 comfort puts this purchase into the no-brainer column. And with the blue tooth pairing of a phone, I can pick up ATIS without bothering my passengers, and take a call from my colleague or late passenger without strangling myself in a mess of cords.

The biggest difference for me is the ear section. Bose X gel cups sat on my ears, while the A20 sits around the ear to eliminate my discomfort and constant shifting to get blood flowing again.

There seems to be less vice action as well. The gravy is noise canceling is better and the aux input for music while sitting on the ground-although I wish that were blue tooth as well. BT Connection to my iPhone Cons: BT works on the phone, not the music input Review: Very happy with the headset so far although I haven't had a long trip yet.

Light weight, comfortable, superior noise canceling Cons: So- so battery life Review: Meets the high expectations I have of Bose products. The A20 cabling and control unit is a little bulkier than the Lightspeed Zulu Review: I bought both the Bose A20 and Lightspeed Zulu headsets.

The A20 is excellent. I split time wearing the A20 and the Lightspeed headsets and find both excellent in terms of weight, comfort, clarity and overall performance. Both were easy to hook up to my android phone via bluetooth and the comms were clear on my phone from the cockpit.

I have even used both headsets for teleconferences at work, although I look a little silly wearing aviation headsets in the office, but they are a heck of a lot clearer than my bluetooth ear bud. I highly recommend both Was this Review Helpful to you? Wednesday, February 11, Gift for my son. I gave this headset to my son because he flies Helicopters. I was concerned about the noise level in the cockpit being a safety issue. So I spent the money on the best things I could find.

His reaction after using these was as I expected. He doesn't have to worry about missing a communication that might be the one that saves his life. He is a happy guy and the other Instructors are I'm sure jealous. Carrying case too short. Used it for first time this moring. Everything is as advertised.

I traded in my old Bose headsets for these A20's. Even more noise reduction than the old ones. My only criticism is the carrying case. Like the former case, it's too short. The cord is bent to a 90 degree angle when storing. It will eventually break the cord like my last headsets. Top notch audio quality for comm and bluetooth Cons: The bluetooth connection quality between my headset and iPhone are superb!

No one can believe I'm calling from my plane! I didn't like having to assemble the cable to the headset myself, though. Comfort, ANR, durability Cons: Price, but I plan on keeping them forever.

Rugged and easy to use, comfortable with great ANR, I dread using anything less. Which is why this is my second set. Tried a few other ANR headsets but keep comparing them to the A So for a similar price, why compromise? Monday, January 12, Pretty awesome! Lightweight, quiet, great sound reproduction, blue tooth. A little expensive, but on par with competition. These are a very quiet comfortable headset. A feature you don't appreciate until it's needed is the bluetooth.

For those of us having to call ATC by telephone to get a clearance, the ability to do so while still monitoring communications is priceless. Well worth the price! I have had bose headsets from day one, I fly a lot I got one set of ears so there worth every penny. I have about every Bose product made.

Their quality and warranty can't be beat. Bose x is a great headset and I thought how can it get much better. Well somehow it was that good. Monday, December 29, Simply amazing! Stop torturing yourself in flight! None I can find. So after a month of frustration during flight, debate, and research I decided to dig into my pocket and make the investment. All I can say now is wow what a difference! Just did a 2hr flight and not only can I barely hear the engine, ATC is crystal clear!

Not to mention these are so comfortable to wear and I barely felt them at all. Funny story, did a bathroom stop along the trip and forgot to turn the set back on.

Definitely noticed the difference with and without the noise cancelling. Flip the switch and you can hear your thoughts! Comfortable, Great Noise Cancellation Cons: I am only just beginning my flight training, however, after having used my instructor's cheap headset for some time, I am so very pleased that I spent the money on this headset. Although somewhat expensive, It is quite comfortable and does an excellent job of noise cancellation.

I hope to enjoy it for years to come. Wery quiet, light Cons: They had problem with cable recently. I am not sure if they still have. I replaced my old david clark headset which i used for a long time by Bose a I used to fly with earplugs under headset because of loud cockpit, but my new headset manage it with no problem.

I am wery happy with performance of anr. Has great noise reduction. Noise cancelling, bluetooth, aux in port. Volume adjuster is rather large Review: After first few flights with instructor he recommended buying my own headset and these are a better alternative to renting Was this Review Helpful to you?

Excellent noise cancellation and audio quality Review: I bought the A20 to replace one of the Bose X sets in my Husky. After several years ending up with sore ears after longer trips, I finally had had enough. It was a close call between the A20 and the Lightspeed Zulu, both have earcups that fit completely over the ear, unlike the X, and both have good passive and active noise reduction. Having flown both in noisy airplanes like Huskies and Super Cubs, my impression is that the A20's audio quality is clearer and crisper.

I used the A20's for the first time a couple of days ago, wearing the set for two two-hour legs. It was much more comfortable than the X, which would have just begun to hurt my ears at the two-hour mark.

I tried the bluetooth connection with my iPhone, which worked well- excellent audio for the receive side, while the people I called said they couldn't hear any background noise. I also tried out an iPod using the cord Bose supplies. The sound was great, far better than playing an iPod through the Husky's intercom using the auxiliary music-in jack on the panel. In summary, the A20 is a big improvement over the X and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I'm sorry I endured the sore ears for so long, should have bought an A20 earlier. The Bose A20 fixed all that! And when I make a phone call the person who I called said " it sounded like I was in my closet at home " absolutely No background noise period! I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Still have the Bose X. The A20 has some really good features. Love buying from MyPilotStore. Always dependable, fast shipping and no hassle. The noise canceling is superior to the Bose X's I was using before, which were very good. Best and perfect noise reduction, available with XLR-5 connector was important for me. Nothing, compared to other High-End active headsets.

Very best active noise reduction ever, much better than Sennheiser S1. But for that you have to fit it properly on your ears, a little testing for the best wearing position was necessairy. With A20 it sounds like an electric shaver used next door. Ordered the A20 with Bluetooth and XLR-5 connector, so I need no batteries, cellphone connection and calling works perfectly. Yes, it is expensive, but compared with other High-End Headsets its doing the best job.

Thursday, August 21, Best investment in aviation there is. Hands down the best investment I have made in a while. The a20 is lighter and more comfortable than it's counter part.

The Bluetooth feature and audio input is rather convenient, especially when the clouds are low and you're on hold with flight service. The Bose 10 was good on the ANR, but the a20 is a couple decibels better. Just that price, but worth it. When I got the advice to buy Bose A20's, I thought first about the expense But I also had the question posed to me about what it was worth in the long run, and to think about the enjoyment it brings to flying.

This was a great choice, and though you too may think about the expense first, you'll be happy you did. Have to hard wire to i-Pad for ForeFlight audio alerts. Started engine, put A20 on. Forgot to turn it on. This product met my expectations.

I am a new pilot and the noise canceling feature helped me hear both my instructor and the tower much more clearly. In addition I have a hearing loss in my left ear race cars and the individual adjustment for each ear allowed me to tune for each ear. Wednesday, July 09, Simply the best Even if I fly on Airbus family Bose provide such a level of communication quality that improve overall flight safety.

The ANR ruduce drastically the noise induced fatigue. My collegue skeptical approach rapidly vanish as soon I let them try the A Sound quality, lack of clamping force, ease of use Cons: I started my flight training with a new DC I'd decided that when I made it to the checkride, I was going to reward myself with the best. Flying under a B shelf, I interact with Approach on a constant basis and my ability to hear instructions with the A20 is superb. Battery life is great, clamping force is less, and the headset is intuitive.

Bought two of these. No issues, Noise canceling is amazing. Comfort and Bluetooth Cons: More comfortable than Bose X headset. Super clear, easy to use. Sound quality is fine, although slightly "different" than Bose X. I really feel like I got my money's worth. It was a lot of money. Better than my Bose Xs by a mile, and the Bluetooth connectivity is really sweet.

Lighter, more comfortable, quieter. Light, good ANR, very comfortable Cons: No music Bluetooth Review: Best set about's without doubt but you can't Bluetooth music just phone calls. This is a bit of an oversight as most other top brands do. Still a small issue to have the best. My son told me this was a very good headset.

It quiets the cockpit noise on my cub so much that sometimes I think I'm flying a turbine! Monday, April 21, Love it. I'm on the AB at a major There is no comparison in price or performance. Yes it is expensive but the head set is outstanding. Easy to adjust ear cup volume separately so you can hear the other pilot s that don't have a headset.

The battery pack is not an issue at all and hangs on a hook on the side windshield post. Battery life is very good. Boom mic is interchangeable to either side and perfectly made to accommodate left or right seat operations. Cord length is great. Makes radio calls much easier to understand, and that at a much lower volume than without the active noise reduction. Definitely good for hearing protection.

I am very happy the performance and forgot all about how much it cost me. Did I really pay that much for a headset. Great support on Aviation Headsets Review: I had heard that Bose service support was not on par with others, say, Lightspeed.

The tech took my information relayed it to an expert and had answer for me within the hour. A new harness showed up 3 days later. Don't know how they improved on the 10 but they did. The background noise reduction is dramatically improved. The best thing I've done so far. Bluetooth capability is unparallelled. I'm a commercial pilot and recent flight instructor and needed an upgrade. Sound is very clear and noise canceling is great.

Only bad thing is when I listen to music with them outside of the airplane i don't listen to music inside the plane they shut off every 7 minutes or so. There is an Auto-Off dip-switch in the battery compartment that will correct the issue with auto-shutoff. Have been flying for two months now with the A20's and they are awesome. My wife and I switch in flight between these and passive style.

What a night and day difference. No the engine did not quit, it just went silent. Very comfortable fit as well. Definitely would buy again and not look back. Thursday, January 30, The best for me! Fit, volume controls and noise cancelling Cons: I've tried and thought the Lightspeed Zulu 2 's were very good, but simply like the Bose A20 fit and volume controls better after flying with them many times.

The noise cancelling is excellent. Also, the bigger diameter Bose plug in cord seems more sturdy long term. Comfortable and Excellent Noise Cancellation Review: It feels light and comfortable. Noise Cancellation is excellent. My ears don't hurt More relaxed Was this Review Helpful to you? I wear hearing aids for hearing difficulty and need all the help I can get. This is fantastic noise reduction that really makes a difference.

Comfortable and quiet Cons: Suddenly the airplane is very quiet. Makes flying more relaxing and communications way less stressful. I had an opportunity to fly with the A20 in the pilot's position and the Bose X in the copilot's side. That gave me the opportunity to switch back and forth to compare the two. The noise canceling is far superior in the A I prefer the ear cup on the A20 also. Yesterdays flights were over 7 hours, and I had no discomfort at all.

I am very happy I upgraded. I also am significantly hearing impaired, and the Bose is worth every penny in my circumstance. I have found the headset to be everything Bose advertised. It is light on the head, comfortable on the ears, the bluetooth works a treat and above all very quite. I was so impressed I brought a second set for my Pax. She is as equally impressed. Sunday, November 10, Bose, Setting the standard so high so often Suppression, Supression, Supression Cons: Wire, stowing it is an issue If we could just get rid of all that wire between the headset and the panel.

I am less tired at end of day. Need to keep spare batteries handy and bulky Review: Great noise cancelling, doesn't seem to shut off as easily as instructions imply, bulky, little tight around the ears but after awhile and a few adjustments you get used to it, if you use a HUD Heads Up Display system it seems to catch it if you lean forward. Quality of design, workmanship, sound, function and durability.

The faux fur head pad could be longer over the head band and a bit thinner and the protective carry case constructed of balistic nylon, check out the bag with the upper end David Clark Company products All said, who cares with the performance of the A Having used literally all the active noise cancelling aviation headsets available in the last decade or so the Bose A20 has superbly exceeded my expectations in all areas such as sound quality, design, workmanship, product support, and the list easily exceeds the space I have been given here in this review.

Great aid to fatigue management Was this Review Helpful to you? Has a better battery compartment. Volume control is recessed to prevent inadvertent adjustment. Always had great success with Bose customer service. Carrying case is designed just for the A Holds the headset firmly in place. Light comfortable and quiet Was this Review Helpful to you? Very please with the product. The clips keep coming off their holders on the cables Review: Thursday, August 29, Magnifficent!

The A20 did not disappoint! If you're able to fork over the eleven-hundred clams, it's well worth it. When I was deciding between the A20 and the Lightspeed Zulu , the thing that caught my eye about the A20 even more than how many parts could be replaced, was that the frequency response went all the way down to 15Hz, which is below the normal range of human hearing; an extremely desirable trait to an audiophile like myself.

As I hoped, music sounds spectacular! Not to mention the communication clarity. Comfort fell a bit short of the benchmark set by pair of passive over-ear Bose headphones I have. Pickiness aside, the A20 is amply comfortable, and has earned the coveted Sam J. Comfort and quality Cons: I loved the Bose X's over the years and knew the A20 would be great!

Bose support is exceptional. MyPilotStore always easy to deal with. Monday, August 12, Unbeleivable! I do not want to use other headsets anymore! I can not use other headsets anymore! I could not imagine there was such a big difference in sound quality between headset!

This unit is just great! Noise Cancelling performance and Blue tooth Cons: I have previously flown with the Bose A20 headsets however my co-pilot was stuck with David Clark. Now we can communicate so much better and she can make phone calls when ever she likes with no hassle. As I say Quality Costs but its worth it. Monday, July 08, Bose does it again! Now on my 3rd generation of Bose headsets. Presently I have 4 Bose 10's in my plane. Gave a 20 a try and immediately bought 2 of the A20's.

Will upgrade the 2nd set next month. Wednesday, May 22, The best product on the market today! Comfortable and quiet Review: Comfortable on long flights, Bluetooth phone calls, amazing sound quality, and superb durability.

No bluetooth for music. I spent a great deal of time testing other leading competitors headsets, and the Bose truly provides the best quality by far! Tuesday, April 16, Love them!

Cable and controller are a little bulky and sometimes in the way Review: One of the biggest things for me was comfort. Previously I had been using David Clark's and they were sturdy and worked just fine, however, they were pretty uncomfortable for me. I was seeking a headset that would fit me better. I am a female, have a larger head but tiny ears. I heard some complaints about pressure on ears with the Bose I have yet to have any troubles with them.

Even with a large head, I do not experience discomfort with too much pressure from the sides. Quiet, comfortable and convenient with the bluetooth capability Cons: Leave the noise cancelling feature off till after engine start so you can hear what is going on. Very comfortable and very quiet, almost too quiet. I have used two earlier models of the Bose noise cancelling headsets and this is the best by far. Best I have ever used, no exceptions I have used Aviation headsets for almost 35 years.

These are by far the lightest and the clearest I have ever used. I was strongly encouraged to purchase my own headset instead of renting at the FBO during my flight lessons. Fatigue would be reduced aside from hygiene concerns. When I put them on for my first flight I was modestly happy with the improvement in comfort and noise reduction. And then I realized I hadn't even turned the headset on yet!

I was really happy after that! Buy the best and don't be disappointed. I did and I'm not! Price, a little expensive. It has perfect fit, very confortable for long trips and the audio quality it's superior! I don't feel yet confortable with noise reduction, due it's almost any noise from engine, but I guess in a few more trips I will be a fan of it. Now that the airplane is quiet, where's good music audio?

Bluetooth has minimal features. Now and then some technology comes along that changes the game. That's the case with the A Spendy up front, but well made and, moreover, well worth it in terms of making the noisy aircraft environment startlingly and spooky quiet.

My only complaint is that they need to refine the BlueTooth inerface and the music audio. Let's face it, on long cross country flights, great sound is fun. Bose drops that ball here. When I bought this headset, I was looking to buy a pair pilot and copilot. I also bought the Sennheiser S1 thinking I'd try 'em both, then return the second in exchange for the winning set.

I've kept one of each. The A20 to get rid of noise local flights and the Sennheiser S1 for fun cross-country.

The Sennheiser's noise-cancellation is okay, but the A20's is stunning. Vast positive difference in both noise cancellation and comfort. Bluetooth works perfectly with the iPhone. I wear hearing aids and they work fine with no feedback. Reduces cockpit noise by an incredible amount, and is barley noticeable on your head. I have now been flying for almost hours with it on Falcon and there is no way I will change. Sound is very clear very important in the environment I am flying.

The headset is comfortable even during 8 hours flights, the autonomy even better than advertised and the bluetooth just perfect. Thursday, February 21, Bose does it again! Comfortable to wear, extremely clear and the volume wheel controls are very useful. Have not tried the bluetooth feature but I anticipate this will be very helpful. The noise protection and clarity is amazing and is envied by my flight instructors several of whom plan to buy one.
